Introduction

Welcome to this blog about Arnhem Central.
In the nineties of the twentieth century began the construction of the new Arnhem Central after the futuristic concept of Ben van Berkel.
Over the years it turned out to be that the project was very difficult to realize and  
it would cost far more than planned, therefore it takes much more time to finish it. 
It's interesting to take a look at ARNHEMCENTRAAL where you can find all the information about this project. 
To get an idea about how the old railwaystation looked like in the past you can find a lot of photographs at STATIONSWEB.NL  The latest railway station was built shortly after 1945 after the old one was destroyed during the liberation.


The photographs on this blog were made over a longer period, during the making of the new station and the area around it.
